The 3R Group has awarded SEQUABAT the construction of a logistics warehouse in Castelnau d’Estrétefonds (Haute-Garonne)

SEQUABAT, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving business, commercial and residential property has just been awarded the contract to build a logistics warehouse in Castelnau d’Estrétefonds (Haute-Garonne). This project developed by the 3R Group will initially be based around two units, with an additional phase with two additional units.
The first logistics project for SEQUABAT
SEQUABAT, the Montpellier-based unit in the IDEC Group, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey property projects has once again shown its expertise in the construction of various types of buildings with the signature of a contract for the first logistics project for the 3R Group. This family business, which is essentially involved in business property, has just awarded SEQUABAT with the construction of a 19,963 m² warehouse in Castelnau d’Estrétefonds (Haute Garonne) in the heart of the Eurocentre multimodal park. “This is a new challenge for the SEQUABAT teams, the sort of challenge we love and which will allow us to develop our know-how,” explained Sébastien PICARD, Managing Director of SEQUABAT. “With this latest massive project, SEQUABAT is continuing its development in the Occitania region.”
A project in two phases
This project developed by the 3R Group benefits from a modular design based around four units. This approach will enable the gradual development of this logistics warehouse on a surface of 19,963 m². In the next few days, the SEQUABAT building teams will start work on the first phase involving two units and an office block covering 9300 m² in all. The POMONA Group will be the first company to occupy the premises.
11 months of work
The construction of this logistics platform will require eleven months of work. With work starting imminently, the foremen and managers in charge of managing the operation for SEQUABAT will be busy. The project is due to be completed by May 2019. It will benefit from Very Good BREEAM certification.
